Beild House was built in 1912 for Dr. Joseph Arthur, his family home and office. It is suspect that Arthur may have kept some mental patients at his home. The house was later turned into a bed and breakfast inn. It wasn’t rare for haunting activity to happen. The house has since been abandoned.
Hauntings[]
A haunted voice asks folks what they are doing here. An apparition of a man in a white tie and tails, top hat and cloak have been seen, and on the basement stairs have been heard. Laundry also has been tossed around the room.
Many have reported groaning, whispers, and messages from spirits; reporting of voices and footsteps. Some have felt deep breaths on their neck and hands on their shoulders. Some have seen solid apparitions, and even have felt aggressive spirits actually hurt them.
